Administrative data
First-aid measures
Ingestion: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if person is conscious). Do not induce vomiting. Keep patient at rest. Seek medical treatment.
Inhalation: Remove persons affected by vapour to fresh air. Keep patient at rest and give oxygen if breathing is difficult. Apply artificial respiration if patient is not breathing. Use a bag and mask or disposable recusitation aid to prevent cross-contamination. Seek medical treatment.
Eye Contact: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical treatment.
Skin Contact: Wash affected skin with plenty of water. Seek medical treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: Do not use water jet.
Fire Fighting Protective Equipment: A Self-contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
Combustion causes toxic fumes. E.g. Oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Accidental release measures
Environmental Exposure Controls: Avoid release to the environment. Contain and absorb large spillages onto an inert, non flammable adsorbent carrier. Sweep up carefully with non-sparking tools. Transfer to a suitable container for disposal.
Other: Evacuate the area. Provided it is safe to do so, isolate the source of the leak. Contain effluent and prevent effluent from entering sewers and waterways.
Handling and storage
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal Potective Equipment:
Respirators: Where engineering controls are not fitted or are inadequate wear suitable repiratory protective equipment. E.g. EN14387 (EC)
Eye Protection: Goggles giving complete protection to the eyes. Full face shield.
Gloves: Neoprene gloves.
Skin: Wear suitable protective clothing. Impervious boots and chemical protection suit.
Stability and reactivity
Hazardous decomposition products: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Incompatable Materials: Avoid contact with strong oxidising agens and bases.
Disposal considerations
European Hazard Code: H4 (Irritant). European Waste Catalogue Index No: 07 07 99.
Dispose of this material and its container to hazardous or special waste collection point. Disposal may be carried out by diluting the waste with a suitable solvent and burning under controlled conditions at a licensed waste material processor; stack gases will need to be scrubbed.
