Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the acute toxicity of PETIA to Daphnia magna under static conditions according to OECD Guideline 202. Daphnia were exposed to the substance as a Water Accomodated Fraction (WAF) at loading rates ranging of 0, 10, 18, 32, 56 and 100 mg/L. Test medium samples were taken at 0 and 48 h for analysis of test substance concentrations. Under the conditions of the study, the test substance did not induce immobilisation of Daphnia magna at 10.3 mg/L after 48 h of exposure (NOEC). The 48h EC50 was 13 mg/L (95% CI: 12 - 13 mg/L), based on initial measured concentrations (Migchielsen, 2010).
