Description of key information

Acute toxicity data are available for fish, invertebrates and algae. For fish, the key 96h-LC50 was determined to be 0.68 mg a.i./L (mean measured, Rainbow trout). For invertebrates, the key 48h-EC50 was determined to be 0.96 mg a.i./L (nominal, Daphnia magna). For algae, the key 72h-ErC50 was determined to be 0.705 mg a.i./L (mean measured, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata).

Chronic toxicity data are available for invertebrates and algae. For invertebrates, the 21d-NOEC was determined to be 0.82 mg a.i./L (TWA measured, Daphnia magna). For algae, the key 72h-NOErC was determined to be 0.303 mg a.i./L (mean measured, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata). A long-term study for toxicity to fish is ongoing.

Finally, an activated sludge inhibition test is available and resulted in a 3h-EC50 of 970 mg a.i./L and a 3h-NOEC of 32 mg a.i./L.
