Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A large body of experimental data is available for the boiling point of the substance and the references are provided in the literature search. Four boiling points were selected, which best reflect the intrinsic boiling point as the boiling ranges are relatively sharp indicating lower levels of impurities. While none of the boiling points are reliable in themselves, due to a lack of documentation, the close agreement between the independantly determined boiling points lends credibility to the result. The available data on boiling point is considered adequate for the purpose of risk assessment and classification and labelling based on the weight of evidence of available data.
