Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

EL50 (48 h) > 100 mg/L (nominal) (Daphnia magna, OECD 202)
No effects up to the limit of the water solubility of the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

For short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates, one limit test with Daphnia magna is available (Wetton and Mullee, 2000), which was conducted according to OECD guideline 202 and GLP. The daphnids were exposed to a water accomodated fraction (WAF) with a nominal loading rate of 100 mg/L for 48 h. No effects were observed in the range of the water solubility of the test substance, thus the result is given as EL50 >100 mg/L (nominal). Chemical analysis of the 100 mg/L loading rate WAFs at 0 and 48 h showed the measured test concentrations to be less than or at the limit of quantification of the analytical method (0.00613 mg/L).
