Conclusion on classification

In accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC, this substance is not classified as dangerous to the environment based on the relevant study endpoints and its tendancy to fully degrade in the environment.

According to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, this substance is not classified in any environmental risk category.

In accordance with the guideline requirements Cycloaliphatic Epoxide Resin ERL-4221 cannot be classified as readily biodegradable. However, the test substance is expected to fully degrade as shown by the results of the biodegradation test in water provided (GLP and guideline compliant).

Measured Log Pow values for Cycloaliphatic Epoxide Resin ERL-4221 are less than 3.0.
