Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. including shoes.
Inhalation: Move patient from contaminated area to fresh air. In case of problems : Consult a physician.
Skin contact: Remove any excess of product. Wash immediately with plenty of a solution of 2% acetic acid in water, then with soap and water to obtain a lather, rinse abundantly and copiously with water.
Eye contact: Wash open eyes immediately with plenty of water, then with a 0.5 % solution of acetic acid. Rinse abundantly and thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Take victim immediately to hospital.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder extinguishers., Use suitable means to extinguish neighbouring fires.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Possible formation of carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and hazardous organic compounds.
Advice for firefighters:
Specific methods: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Special protective actions for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes.
Environmental precautions: Prevent product from entering drains.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Methods for cleaning up: Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Recovery: contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite).
Elimination: Place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Technical measures/Precautions: Provide water supplies, ocular fountains and showers near the point of use. Provide a catch-tank in a bunded area.Wear impermeable insulated gloves when handling hot.
Safe handling advice: Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Hygiene measures: Prohibit inhalation of vapours. Remove immediately soaked or soiled clothing. Wash separately. Wash immediately any affected parts of the body. Wash hands after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Take all necessary measures to prevent accidentalspillages of the product from entering into drains and water courses in the event of failure ofcontainers or transfer systems.
Packaging material:
Recommended: Stainless steel 316 L, mild steel.
To be avoided: Aluminium and copper alloys.

Stability and reactivity
Reactivity & Chemical stability: No data available.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Further information: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Conditions to avoid: No data available.
Incompatible materials to avoid: Powerful oxidants, strong acids and organohalogenated compounds.
Hazardous decomposition products: Possible formation of carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and hazardous organic compounds.
Disposal considerations
Disposal of product: The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil. Incinerate in suitable incineration plant, observing local authority regulations.
Disposal of packaging: Clean container with water (recover waste water for treatment later). Must be dumped or incinerated in accordance with local regulations.
