Under experimental conditions of oral administration of dapsone in C57BL/6 mice, Dapsone did not result in a significant degree of immunotoxicity in C57BL/6 mice with the exception of the highest dose. The pattern of immunotoxicity that was observed appeared to be related to a marginal sensitivity in humoral immunity and manifested as augmented responses. In this regard, the possibility of a "rebound" effect cannot be ruled out.
