Additional information

A study was carried out according to OECD guideline 121 in order to determine the adsorption coefficient of n-hexyl acetate. The test was carried out by HPLC screening method. A solution of the test substance was injected to a HPLC system with a column temperature of 30oC and retention time was measured. Dead time was determined by measuring the retention time of formamide. A calibration curve was created using retention time data from dead time and reference solutions. The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test substance was determined to be 293 (log Koc= 2.47).
