Description of key information

Dihydrogen hexafluorotitanate is an aqueous solution and its boiling point is thus somewhat above that of water (100 °C). The exact boiling-point elevation depends on the concentration of the acid, but is not considered practically relevant for the chemical safety assessment. Experimental confirmation of the boiling point is scientifically not justified (in accordance with REACH Annex XI, section 1) and a boiling point of 100°C is selected as the key value for chemical safety assessment.
