Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In accordance with REACH Annex X, 9.5, column 2, long-term sediment toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the CSA indicates the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or relevant degradation products on sediment organisms. As the substance has no relevant adsorptive properties (log Koc <<3), has no bioaccumulation potential (BCF 0.5 -7.0, measured; NITE, 2000), is readily biodegradable, and is not classified for environmental hazards according to REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008, no relevant risk for sediment dwelling organisms is expected. In conclusion, sediment toxicity testing is not required and the EPM method was applied to estimate the hazard for sediment organisms.
