readily biodegradable

Additional information

DMCHA was shown to be readily biodegradable in a DOC Die-Away Test (OECD 301 A) using non-adapted activated sludge from a laboratory wastewater treatment plant treating municipal sewage. The substance was found to degrade by a mean value of 90-100% after 18 days. Therefore, DMCHA is considered to be readily biodegradable (BASF AG, 2004; report no. 96/0625/21/2).
