Additional information

The explosive properties of 1,2,4-triazole was determined with respect to thermal sensitivity, mechanical sensitivity when subjected to shock, and mechanical sensitivity when submitted to friction.

The results of these observations indicated that the test substance was not sensitive to shock or friction, and was not explosive when heated under defined confinement.  Collectively, the results demonstrated that 1,2,4-triazole is non-explosive.
