Di-n-butylnitrosoamine was formed from 0.5 M,0.1 M, and 0.02 M tri-n-butylamine in the presence of excess nitrite (4-molar excess) at a yield of 14 %, 1 % and 0.4 % after 4h  at pH 3.7 - 4.0 and 37 °C, respectively.

Di-n-butylnitrosoamine was formed from 0.5 M,0.1 M, and 0.02 M tri-n-butylamine in the presence of excess nitrite (4-molar excess) at a yield of 14 %, 1 % and 0.4 % after 4h  at pH 3.7 - 4.0 and 37 °C, respectively (Lijinski et al., 1973).
