The substance is not biodegradable (< 5% after 28 days) as shown in the available ready biodegradability test according to OECD 301B (Bader, U. 1989). Additional data from the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation in Japan support this result. In a biodegradability test according to OECD 301 C the biodegradability was also below 5% after 28 days (MHLW,Biodegradation and Bioconcentration of Existing Chemical Substances under the Chemical Substances Control Law, inThe Official Bulletin of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. 1998, MITI.)
