Additional information

The substance BPA 2PO is biodegradable with approximately 60% degradation over 28 days and no plateau reached. The substance is considered 'ultimately biodegradable' and the Bisphenol A (BPA) core appears to be metabolising.

This is contrary to data found on BPA that suggests it is non-biodegradable. It therefore appears that the PO attached to the BPA allows metabolic degradation. This observation is also confirmed by reports of complete biodegradation of BPA with 5 moles PO.
