Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Justification for type of information:
One terrestrial result is available on plants (OECD 208). An EC50_14d of 560 mg/kg soil dw was obtained from this study. Applying an assessment factor of 1000 on this value, a PNEC soil of 0.56 mg/kg is derived. Plants have been identified as the most sensitive species for the aquatic compartment. Thus it seems relevant to have toxicity data on terrestrial plants.
But since only one terrestrial result is available, the equilibrium partitioning methodology was also used to derive PNEC screen.Applying the EPM methodology, a PNEC soil of 0.73 mg/kg was derived
Thus the lowest PNEC soil was obtained from terrestrial plants toxicity result and thus the value of 0.56 mg/kg was used for the exposure assessment.
As the exposure assessment (see Chapter 9) based on PNECsoil of 0.56 mg/kg does not indicate the risk for terrestrial compartment (all RCRs to all compartments are well below 1 and all the supported uses are therefore assessed to be safe) no further testing is proposed for terrestrial toxicity.
