Additional information

Diisopropylamine aquatic toxicity profile has been investigated on different levels of the trophic chain: algae, daphnia and fish. Acute tests results were:

Fish LC50 = 26 mg/l

Daphnia LC50 = 110 mg/l

Algae EC50 = 20 mg/l

Chronic tests results were:

Fish NOEC =

Daphnia NOEC = 10 mg/l

Algae NOEC = 5 mg/l

Based on these results, an assessment factor of 10 can be applied for aquatic PNEC derivation.

Diisopropylamine showed only a slight effect on the respiration of activated sludge in the conditions of an OECD 209 test with an EC50 -3h which was higher than 100 mg/l.
