Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Testing according to OECD 203, 211 and 201 is still ongoing. According to the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R7.c (ECHA, 2008), “in making a judgement on whether soil organisms should be generated, and if so which these should be, all available data, including those available in aquatic organisms should first be examined as part of a stepwise approach”. In the absence of aquatic toxicity data, it is not possible to assign the substance to the corresponding soil hazard category (1-4), as the degree of toxicity to aquatic organisms is one of the necessary criteria for such an assessment. Therefore, a proper evaluation of the information requirements for terrestrial toxicity needed for this substance is currently not possible. The dossier will be updated as soon as possible with the results of the aquatic toxicity tests and the need for soil toxicity data evaluated based on the outcome of these studies.
