Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key value is based on the observations in a study on biodegradation according OECD guideline 301C showing less than ten percent degradation under test conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The substance has to be regarded as not readily biodegradable. Under test conditions less than ten percent of the test item has been degraded based on analysis by BOD, DOC and substance-specific analysis by HLPC. This result is supported by (Q)SAR estimations (BIOWIN v4.10) indicating non-readily biodegradability, but potential for inherent degradation (Biowin 3 and 4 calculation indicates timeframe weeks - days).
