Description of key information

No measurement of Henry's Law constant was conducted, but a calculation using vapour pressure, molecular weight and water solubility was used to present the Henry's Law Constant for the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
4.61
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Henry's Law Constant was calculated for each component (due to differing water solubility), and the maximum Henry's Law Constant was used to define the endpoint.

The following formula was used (EU TGD):

H = (Vp x Mwt)/S

where:

H = Henrys Law constant

Vp = Vapour pressure

Mwt = Molecular weight

S = Water solubility

For 2 -ethylhexyl dihydrogen phosphate:

H = 0.001

Vp = 0.085 Pa

Mwt = 210.21 g/mol

S = 13,200 mg/L

For bis(2 -ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate H = 4.61

H = 4.61

Vp = 0.085 Pa

Mwt = 322.43

S = 5.95 mg/L
