Description of key information

log Kow/ log Pow

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
1.62

Additional information

Justification:

The US EPA QSAR model (EPI Suite, KOWWIN Program (v1.67)) were used to estimate partition coefficient n-octanol/water of chloroethylene.

The log Pow/log Kow data forchloroethyleneis calculated by the registrant with KOWWIN (v.1.67) model which is included in the US EPA Estimation Programs Interface Suite developed for determination of physical and environmental properties of substances. Therefore, a value of 1.62 will be adopted for the purpose of this CSA.
