Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Different studies have been performed for the determination of the vapor pressure of 2 -nitropropane; all are of good quality, made on a pure substance. The Antoine equation has been determined and gives a good prediction of the vapour pressure of 2-nitropropane at different temperatures: logPmmHg = 7.081995 - 1422.122/(t + 218.258) with PmmHg = vapour pressure expressed in mm Mercury and t = temperature in °C.
