Description of key information
According to the 12 different sources including a key report according to OECD 102 (Klimish 1), DETU (1,3 diethyl-2-thiourea) has got a melting point at 76-80°C.

According to 11 different sources on the bibliography, melting point of DETU is in the range 76.4 -79 °C. Three other references give about 68 till 72°C, these latter will be considered as disregard studies. Moreover, some measures made according to OCDE guideline 102 confirm these results : product specification are 76 -80°C ; three replicates have got a MP in the range 77.1 -77.8°C, and statistics values gives 78.18 +/- 0.57°C
Melting point of DETU is ca 76 -80°C.
