Sulfosuccinate of Lanolin Alcohol sample was tested according to the guideline A.15 Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Part A.
The physical state of the test item made difficult its introduction in the apparatus, the test item was reduced in a small pieces using pestle and mortar and mixed with Kieselguhr in the portion 1 to 1 (w/w). The measurements were carried out at 995 mbar atmospheric pressure.
Results defined an auto ignition temperature of 473 °C with an ignition delay time of 2 seconds.
