Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Low bioavailability and rapid degradation reduce the ecotoxicological potential of the submission item. No signs for any specific mode of action are available and baseline toxicity can be assumed. In absence of toxic effects no meaningful PNEC can be derived. The submission item is deemed not hazardous to the environment.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the available data indicating the absence hazardous effects, the submission item is not classified. In accordance with the assessment made in the respective section, the CLP regulation considers for the ready or rapid biodegradation assessment no 10-day window for UVCB or complex multi-constituent substances. EC (2011, p L 83/24) states: “These levels of biodegradation must be achieved within 10 days of the start of degradation which point is taken as the time when 10 % of the substance has been degraded, unless the substance is identified as an UVCB or as a complex, multi-constituent substance with structurally similar constituents. In this case, and where there is sufficient justification, the 10-day window condition may be waived and the pass level applied at 28 days.” Therefore the submission item can be regarded for classification purposes as readily biodegradable.
