Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Two studies conducted according to OECD 203 guideline are available on the acute toxicity to fish for hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics (CEFIC 1995a, 1995b). The acute toxicity, as measured by mortality to rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), was evaluated in freshwater by using water accomodated fractions (WAFs). Under the conditions of these studies, the test substance, hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics produced acute lethal toxicity to Oncorhynchus mykiss at 3.6 mg/L (CEFIC 1995a) and 5.4 mg/L (CEFIC 1995b) based on nominal loadings of the test substance in water. NOELs were determined to be 2.3 and 1.4 mg/L, respectively.
