Description of key information

The viscosity for hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics is at minimum 0.95 mm2/s at 20 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Viscosity is measured at 20 °C using ASTM 445 method. All possible grades within this substance description if measured with the agreed method are covered by a value of at least 0.95 mm2/s at 20 °C. In a study by Total Fluides (2009) a viscosity of 0.96 mm2/s at 20 °C was determined for the test substance, hydrocarbons, C7-C8, cyclics, demonstrating that measured values fall within borderline values.
