Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The 48 hr-acute toxicity of 1-bromopropane to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions. Daphnids were exposed to 1 -bromopropane dissolved in Elendt M4 medium at mean measured concentrations of 0, 5.22, 6.24, 13.2, 29.6 and 58.8 mg/L for 48 hours. The 48 hour EC50 based on immobility was 99.3 mg/L. The 48 hr NOEC value based on immobility was 29.6 mg/L. No 95% confidence intervals could be determined.
