There is no evidence from the available data to suggest that Alkanes, C16-C18 branched and linear requires classification as a carcinogen according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Additional information

Limited data are available that are relevant to the potential carcinogenicity of Alkanes, C16 -C18 branched and linear. In the absence of any positive in vitro or in vivo mutagenicity data for GTL Gasoil and GTL Base Oil Distillates, no further investigation of this endpoint is required, thus Alkanes, C16 -C18 branched and linear is not considered not classified as a carcinogen.
