Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Acute fish toxicity 96h LL50 > 10115 mg/L for rainbow trout (OECD 203 TG) – No acute toxicity at its water solubility
Acute fish toxicity 96h LL50 > 150 mg/L for zebrafish (OECD 203 TG) – No acute toxicity at its water solubility
Acute fish toxicity 96h NOEL > 10115 mg/L for rainbow trout (OECD 203 TG)
Acute fish toxicity 96h NOEL >150 mg/L for zebrafish (OECD 203 TG)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance produced no significant mortality in rainbow trout at any of the exposure concentrations including the highest load of 10115 mg/L (OWD). The 96 hr LL50 value was determined to be > 10115 mg/L (loading OWD) and the 96 hr NOEL was > 10115 mg/L based on mortality. The test substance produced no mortality in zebrafish at 150 mg/L (WAF)(nominal loading, limit test). The 96 hr LL50 and 96 hr NOEL values were determined to be > 150 mg/L (loading OWD) based on mortality.

Overall, the test substance is not acutely toxic to rainbow trout or to zebrafish at its maximal water solubility.
