Administrative data

First-aid measures

Eye contact: Wash with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Get medical advice if symptoms appears.

Skin contact: Remove contamined clothing. Wash with plenty of water and soap. Get medical advice if symptoms appears.

Ingestion: If injured person is conscious rinse mouth with plenty of water. Get medical advice if symptoms appears.

Inhalation: If respiratory discomfort or irritation occurs, move the person to fresh air. If necessary give therapeutic oxygen or perform artificial respiration.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable estinguishing media: Dry chemical, Carbon dioxide, Foam, Water spray.

Combustion products: If it is involved in fire, it may emit irritant  fumes.

Equipment: In estinguishing fire operations utilize self-contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapour. Wear adequate protective equipment.

Do not allow the product to enter drains, surface and ground water and soil.

In case of spillage contain and absorb with inert materials. Stop the spillage if the operation is not dangerous.

Pick up mechanically contamined material and put it in a suitable container for disposal.

Handling and storage

The substance is only used in a synthesis process to produce an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (A.P.I.).

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Do not breathe dust and vapours.

Provide sufficient ventilation in all work areas.

Avoid contact with incompatible materials and keep away from fire, light and ignition sources.

Store in hermetically sealed drums, protected from impacts and in a well ventilated area.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Eye protection:       Safety glasses or face shield.

Skin protection:       Protective clothing with long sleeves.

Hand protection:       Chemical agents protective gloves in suitable material .

Respiratory protection:       Full face gas mask with universal filter. Perform in well ventilated areas

Stability and reactivity

The material is stable during normal conditions of use.

Conditions to avoid: High temperature.

Hazardous decomposition : at high temperature it decomposes with emission of toxic gas (COx, NOx).

Materials to avoid: Strong oxidising agent

Disposal considerations

Used waste product, surplus product or spillage products shall be disposed of in accordance with national, state and local laws.
