Additional information

The acute toxicity of N,N-bis(3 -aminopropyl)methylamine (CAS 105 -83 -9) was studied in a static test according to method OECD 202. The test item concentrations were analytically verified and were stable during the exposure period (±20% of nominal). Therefore the effect concentrations are based on the nominal values. The 48-h EC50 was determined to be 18.1 mg/L (BASF SE, 2012; report no. 50E0435/11E097).

In conclusion, the substance is acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
