Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
flask method
Key result
Water solubility:
< 1 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Loading of aqueous phase:
100 mg/L
Incubation duration:
> 1 - <= 3 d
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
6.3 - 6.9
Remarks on result:
not determinable because of methodological limitations
Details on results:
Water solubility values of 3 and 19 mg C/l at the low and high test loadings respectively were found. The higher apparent solubility at the higher test loading indicated that minor components or impurities would mainly have contributed to these values. Based on structure, the solubility of the test substance itself was anticipated to be much lower. Computer modelling ((WSKOWWIN, Version 1.41, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) indicated a water solubility of much less than 1 mg/l for the major constituents of the test substance.

Description of key information
