Additional information

According to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP) similar screening criteria, the structure of the substance does not contain any atoms associated with oxidising properties (O, F, Cl, Br). Therefore, no further testing is required.

A supporting statement was provided, including examination of the structure of impurities, and leading to the same conclusion. It was based on the UN Manual of Tests and criteria for the Transport of Dangerous Goods, 2003; nevertheless, it is fully valid as criteria are identical to CLP.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is NOT classified as oxidising (liquid) according to both DSD and CLP criteria, based on the structural formula.
