Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A test on ready biodegradability was conducted according to OECD Guideline 301 F

(Ready Biodegradability: Manometric Respirometry Test).  After 28 days the test item showed 1 % degradation. Therefore the test substance is not ready biodegradable.
A test on inherent biodegradability was conducted according to OECD Guideline 302 C (Inherent Biodegradability: Modified MITI Test (II)). Within 28 days a degradation rate of 5 % was determined for the test substance. Therefore the test substance is considered to be "Not Inherently Biodegradable".

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

According to the available biodegradation results the substance is not readily and inherently biodegradable.
