Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Above 140 °C the test item started to discolour. At the end of the measurement it had dicoloured from brownish-yellow to dark brown-black. For this reason the measured vapour pressure above 207.1 °C where not taken into account for the final result.

Conclusions:
The following extrapolated values wer determined from the experimental data gained from the vapour pressure dynamic method:
20°C: 0.313 Pa
25°C: 0.603 Pa
50°C: 9.43 Pa
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure was measured according to the European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.4 and OECD Test Guideline 104 with the dynamic method in the temperature range of 117 °C to 240 °C.

After filling the apparatus with the test item the lowest desired pressure is set and the heating system is switched on. The temperature is measured by a resistance thermometer. Equilibrium is reached when a constant boiling temperature is achieved at a given pressure. After recording this point the pressure is increased step by step and if possible up to

the boiling point.

The following extrapolated values wer determined from the experimental data gained from the vapour pressure dynamic method: 20°C: 0.313 Pa, 25°C: 0.603 Pa, 50°C: 9.43 Pa.
