Description of key information

The Log Kow of the analogue TMP pelargonate  experimentally determined by Brinkmann (2013) was determined to be > 6.2.

The log Pow was experimentally determined on the analogue TMP Pelargonate by Brinkmann (2013) using an HPLC based method according to OECD117. According to this test the log Pow was above the log Pow of DDT which is the reference substance with the highest log Pow. The log Pow is consequently > 6.2. QSAR calculations the log Pow of all the constituents of the UVCB substance TMP C5 -9 higher than 10% by weight were estimated to be between 8.66 and 10.64.
