Description of key information

The boiling temperature of Rikabinol HB was not determinable, as the test substance decomposed at temperatures above approximately 280°C without boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
280 °C

Additional information

The determination of boiling point of HBPA was carried out by the Siwoloboff method (Huntingdon Life Sciences, 2012, Study MOG0004). The procedure was designed to be compatible with the EC Method A.2 and the OECD test guideline 103, and was conducted in compliance with GLP.

The boiling temperature of HBPA was not determinable, as the test substance decomposed at temperatures above approximately 280°C without boiling.
