Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Tetramethylenediamine has a boiling point of 158°C -159°C and a flashpoint of 45°C. Therefore it should be labeled as a flammable liquid.

The boiling point in combination with the flashpoint are the criteria for classification a liquid as flammable.
Tetramethylene diamine does not fullfill the criteria of a flammable liquid as described in the CLP directive table
Category 1, - extremely flammable liquid (flash point of <23ºC and boiling point =35ºC (e.g. diethyl ether, carbon
disulphide), as
Category 2 - highly flammable liquid and vapour if they have a flash point of
<23ºC and boiling point >35ºC (e.g. petrol, acetone)
Category 3 - flammable liquid and vapour =23°C and =60ºC
Executive summary:

Tetramethylenediamine has a boiling point of 158°C -159°C and a flashpoint of 45°C.

The boiling point in combination with the flashpoint are the criteria for classification a liquid as flammable.

Tetramethylenediamine fullfills the criteria of a flammable liquid.

More details about criteria see CLP directive 1272/2008 EC table 2.6.1
