Administrative data
First-aid measures
General: Immediate medical attention is required. Move out of dangerous area. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Inhalation: Consult a physician after significant exposure. Skin: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Immediate medical treatment is necessary as untreated wounds from corrosion of the skin heal slowly and with difficulty.
Eye: Rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse during transport. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. Small amounts splashed into eyes can cause irreversible tissue damage and blindness. Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take victim immediately to hospital. Do not induce vomiting! May cause chemical burns in mouth and throat.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Take victim immediately to hospital. Do not induce vomiting! May cause chemical burns in mouth and throat. Hazards During Fire-Fighting:
Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Protective Equipment for Fire-Fighting: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Fire-Fighting/Further Advice: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Decomposition Products:
No hazardous decomposition products are known.
Accidental release measures
Personal Precautions: No hazardous decomposition products are known. Environmental Precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities. Methods for Cleaning or Taking Up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Advice on Safe Handling: For personal protection see section 8. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations. Fire and Explosion Protection: Normal measures for preventive fire protection. Storage Requirements (SDS): Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Reacts with copper, aluminium, zinc and their alloys. Storage Class According to VCI (DE): Combustible liquids, corrosive

Exposure controls / personal protection
Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values. Respiratory Protection: In the case of vapour formation use a respirator with an approved filter. Wear full face mask supplied with: Gas cartridge K (ammonia, green). Combination filter ABEKP. Hand Protection: Nitrile rubber
butyl-rubber Eye Protection: Eye wash bottle with pure water Tightly fitting safety goggles Wear face-shield and protective suit for abnormal processing problems. Body Protection: impervious clothing Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. Industrial Hygiene: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Environmental Precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to Avoid (SDS): Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight. Decomposition Products: No hazardous decomposition products are known.Hazardous Reactions: Stable under normal conditions.
Disposal considerations
Advice on Disposal and Packaging: The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used container. Hazardous waste. Waste Disposal of Packages Not Cleaned: Empty remaining contents.
Dispose of as unused product. Do not re-use empty containers.
