Description of key information

No valid short-term toxicity data are available for aquatic invertebrates. The long-term EC50 for parental mortality/immobility will be used as a worst-case.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
566 µg/L

Additional information

From the figures of the branched triamine C12 (CAS no 2372 -82 -9) which were obtained by performing ecotoxicity tests in reconstituted lab water, it is clear that the long-term EC50 can be used as a worst-case short-term EC50 for daphnia. No valid short-term aquatic invertebrates data are available for branched triamine C16 -18 but as a worst-case the long-term EC50 will be used instead.
