Description of key information

An inherent biodegradation study was performed with FAT 93450 according to OECD Guideline 302C. The mean value of the biodegradation of test substance after 28 d was 0 %. The biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) after 5 d was 0 mg O2/g. Under the study conditions, the test substance was not considered to be inherently biodegradable. The COD of FAT 93450/A was 2018 mg O2/g, hence BOD5/COD was 0, indicating it to be neither readily biodegradable. FAT 93450/Z was hydrolytically comparatively stable in buffered solutions under acidic (pH 4), neutral (pH 7) and alkaline (pH 9) conditions according to OECD guideline 111. Since no experimental study is available for FAT93450, the estimated QSAR data was calculated using EPISUITE (v4.10) .The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of FAT 93450 was calculated as to be 1.647 - 20.061 E06 and log Koc was 6.217 and 7.314, based on the Kow method and MCI method, respectively.
