Any other information on results incl. tables

Molecular structure:

The test substance does not contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties.

Oxygen balance:

The oxygen balance of the test substance was determined using the following formula:

-1600 x (2x+y/2-z)/Mw [%]

where:

x = number of carbon atoms

y = number of hydrogen atoms

z = number of oxygen atoms

Mw=molecular weight of the test substance [g/mol]

A sulphur atom is equivalent to a carbon atom. The number of sulphur atoms was included to the number of carbon atoms. The oxygen balance of the test substance was –149%, which is higher than –200%. This value is due to the presence of a carboxylic acid group and a carbonamide group in the molecular structure of the test substancebut these groups are not chemically instable or highly energetic. Based on this, the test substance is considered to pose no risk of explodability.
