Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

BCF (aquatic species):
214 L/kg ww

Additional information

The earlier results from De Wolf (1991 & 1992) were discarded as experimentally less reliable than the later work (1993). To assess the bioaccumulation potential of the test item towards fish, Poecilia reticulata were exposed during seven days in a flow-through system at 23.5 ± 0.5°C, pH 7 -8, DO 7 mg/L to the substance (uptake). Afterwards the fish were transferred to clean water and observed over a depuration period of four days. No noticeable deviations from ordinary swimming or eating behaviour was observed either during exposure or elimination. The bioaccumulation was reported as BCF(whole body ww)=214 L/kg and BCF(lipid)=1620 L/kg. The whole body BCF is taken forward for classification purposes.
