Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

readily biodegradable

Additional information

One valid key study is available to assess the biodegradation potential of the registered substance. This study was performed according to OECD Guideline 301D with GLP statement. The substance was exposed to river water at a concentration of 2 mg/L with culture medium in closed bottles in the dark at 22-24 °C for 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. The degradation of the substance was assessed by the measurement of oxygen consumption.

The test substance attained 77% degradation after 28 days and satisfied the 10 day window validation criterion. Therefore the registered substance can be considered to be readily biodegradable.
