Conclusions:
The viscosity of the test item is 5.20mm²/s at 20°C and 3.08mm²/s at 40°C.
Executive summary:

The determination was carried out using a capillary viscometer procedure, according to Method 114 of OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 12 May 1981 and according to GLP. No deviation from the guideline was observed.

The kinematic viscosity was determined by measuring the time of flow for substance through a capillary of know dimensions (U-tube).

The calibration check was performed in duplicate at 25 °C. The viscometer is considered valid for use, because the experimental values obtained for the viscosity standard are within ± 4% of the certified value.

The viscosity of the test item is 5.20 mm²/s at 20°C and 3.08 mm²/s at 40°C.

Description of key information

Experimental value of viscosity for the test item at 20°C: 5.20 mm²/s

Experimental value of viscosity for the test item at 40°C: 3.08 mm²/s

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
5.2 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C
