Description of key information

As stated in Annex VII Column 2; Specific rules for adaptation from Column 1, a study does not need to be conducted for an inorganic substance, therefore a study to determine partition coefficient in n-octanol/water is scientifically unjustified.
As the substance is highly water soluble and an inorganic salt an estimated value of Log Kow = -1 is used for risk assessment purposes

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
-1
at the temperature of:
25 °C
