Administrative data

Endpoint:
bioaccumulation in aquatic species: fish
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low potential to cross biological membranes
Justification for type of information:
Based on the Log Kow (calculated) and Log Koc values, it is expected that the substance has a potential to adsorb to soil and sediments. Bioavailability and therefore bioaccumulation depends on: water solubility and biodegradation. This bioavailability can be considered low if the substance is hardly soluble in water (< 1 mg/l), readily biodegradable (86% in 28d) and showed no or little toxicity in the range of water solubility (NOEC 21d - daphnia = 0.147 mg/l; ErC50-72h - algae = 0.11 mg/l).
