Description of key information

Under the conditions of this study, no value for boiling point could be determined. The test material lost a volatile fraction from approximately 229 °C (502 K) with possible decomposition as heating continued.

Additional information

The key study was conducted in line with GLP and the standardised guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.2. It was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria detailed by Klimisch (1997).

The boiling point of the test material was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry.

Aliquots of the test material were added to aluminium crucibles and heated to 450 °C. Analysis of the thermographic data indicated a degree of underlying decomposition.

Under the conditions of this study, no value for boiling point could be determined. The test material lost a volatile fraction from approximately 229 °C (502 K) with possible decomposition as heating continued.
